End of the Year Announcements!

The year is coming to a close and we have some quick announcements!

Make sure to turn in your money for the 5th Ave Awards as well as chords for seniors!

Also please RSVP for awards night. Everyone should have gotten an invite. If you feel like you haven't gotten an invite but would like to go on June 9 at 6pm, make sure to RSVP to Kateara Utley.

In order to keep our Honor Troupe Gold status, we have to have an entry fee for every show, so DramaFest will have a $2 entry fee this year. In previous years it has been free, so this is a new change. Make sure when you're inviting people that they bring $2 to get in.

Drama Awards 2018 Ballot

As the year is coming to a close, we will like to once again recognize the extremely hard work of all of the amazing cast and crew members of all of the shows this past year. A really fun way to do so is voting on awards in various categories that highlight the fantastic work that all of us put in. So vote away!

You have to log in with your email in order to insure that everyone only votes once.

The form will be accepting responses ALL DAY today and tomorrow until the exec meting. Make sure that you let your friends who weren't at school today know about the ballot

Here is the link to the google form.

DramaFest Cast Lists

Congratulations to everybody who was cast in a play for DramaFest! We say this for every show, but for this show it's the most true that the casting process was ROUGH. There was so much talent that it was difficult to place everyone.

Make sure you find your director before the end of the week to pick up your script and accept your role. Directors will be at the black box for a little while during last period AT and after school to get you your scripts. If you do not pick up your script from your director, then it will be assumed that you did not accept the role, and someone else will be cast in your place. If you can't find your director, let Mrs Powell or Ms Walker know and we will get the script to you. You will also be getting your rehearsal schedule from your director the same day. There is so little time to put these shows together, make sure you work hard and communicate with your director.

Make sure you read ALL THE WAY THROUGH this post, because there is a chance you could have been cast in more than one show. Read every single cast list to make sure you know if you have been double cast!

Congrats once again! Happy rehearsing!

Step Right Up and Sign Up for Dramafest Auditions

Hey all! This is a reminder to sign up for Dramafest auditions THIS MONDAY after school!

As of right now we don't have nearly enough people to cast all of the shows, so make sure you peer pressure your friends to give theatre a try with Dramafest! The sign up sheet will remain posted on the black box door on Monday for sign ups, but even if you haven't signed up, come to the black box at 2 pm to audition! Just because you didn't have a chance to sign up doesn't mean you can't audition!

Audition requirements: 30 second-1 minute monologue. If you are interested in being in one of the musical plays, then also come prepared with a clipping of a song and a backtrack to audition with. The type of song doesn't matter, but a verse and a chorus is a good amount of time.

If you have any questions about Dramafest auditions find Mrs Powell or any of the exec members, new or old!
